POLICE were called out after a digger fell of the back of a van on one of Suffolk's busiest carriageways.
The incident happened at 8.50am on the A11, just south of the Elveden crossroads.
The emergency services were called in because the digger - which was being towed by a Ford Transit van - blocked the road.
A second digger was sent to the scene to assist in the recovery of the first digger.
A police spokeswoman said a pink Vauxhall Omega had also left the road and went into a ditch at the same location at about about the same time.
Nobody was injured in either incident.
