The A12 was blocked for more than an hour this afternoon after a three-car collision at Benacre, near the Henstead turning.
A BMW, a Mini Cooper and a Vauxhall Astra were involved in the crash at about 2.15pm. The Lowestoft-bound carriageway was blocked for some time while the cars were moved and oil was cleared from the road. One person was treated for shock, a woman from one of the cars was thought to have minor neck injuries and a man was taken to the James Paget University Hospital with life threatening injuries.
