IPSWICH: Rail passengers are facing long delays today on trains into London.
Delays of up to one hour are affecting services due to a signal failure at Chelmsford.
A reduced number of trains are now running between Colchester and London Liverpool Street.
A number of trains travelling between London and Ipswich have had to be cancelled.
National Express said they expect the delays to last until at least 4pm this afternoon - with the possibility of the problems continuing into the evening.
It is believed the problems stem from the theft of cabling from signals at Chelmsford.
