The hunt to find a woman who ran an Ipswich brothel will be shown on a TV programme tonight.
A glimpse into Suffolk's sex industry will be revealed on a TV programme tonight.
BBC 1's Inside Out programme has filmed an investigation into a local sex trafficking operation.
The programme centres on the hunt for Yi Yuan Geng, a woman believed to be the mastermind behind brothels in Ipswich and Norwich.
Geng had previously been caught by police but escaped and then disappeared.
She was tracked down in London, charged and found guilty of managing a brothel in Ipswich.
She was sentenced to 18 months in prison followed by deportation.
A spokesperson for the BBC said: “The programme follows police across Norfolk and Suffolk, reveals the women who are victims and joins in the hunt for Geng.
“Later on, a wife in Suffolk gets a shock when she discovers her husband is involved in the operation.
“But there's a happy ending for Thai born Mai Ling, a former worker who found love with an ex-customer.”
Inside Out is on BBC 1 at 7.30pm.
