A RESCUE operation was launched this evening after a man became trapped underneath a tractor.
A RESCUE operation was launched this evening after a man became trapped underneath a tractor.
The incident took place in Skeltons Drove in Kenny Hill, near RAF Mildenhall, at about 5pm and one fire crew from Mildenhall and a pump rescue tender from Newmarket Fire Station were sent to the scene.
A fire service spokesman said: “The male casualty was severely trapped under a tractor and crews used airbags and hydraulic ram to assist with stabilising the tractor.
“Crews worked alongside ambulance crews and paramedics to release the man. The stop was received at 6.09pm.”
The man was eventually released and was assisted by ambulance staff before being taken to hospital.
