SUFFOLK: An endless line of traffic, the A140 blocked once again because of a crash - and the main route to Suffolk's closest emergency specialist heart hospital.
Already emergency heart attack patients are facing a life or death dash to one of three specialist hospitals in the region - the Norfolk and Norwich, Basildon and Papworth.
Today it is revealed that ambulance crews are choosing to take patients up to 20 miles further away than our closest hospital - to Basildon and Papworth - because the roads are more reliable.
