RIVER waters breached the quay at Woodbridge after unsettled weather conditions caused levels to rise.
These pictures, captured by reader Richie Wisbey of Woodbridge, show how an extremely high tide combined with a small surge caused the normally busy area of the quay to be flooded.
Normally on a Sunday there would be lots of people walking and visiting the cafs in the area, but instead yesterday it was covered in river water.
The Environment Agency had issued a flood warning for the River Deben and areas such as Felixstowe Ferry and Bawdsey Quay on Saturday due to the weather.
A spokeswoman for Thames Coastguard said that it was also coming up for spring tide which also causes higher water levels.
She said the Coastguard had had no calls in relation to the flooding at Woodbridge.
