POLICE officers are appealing for information after a young girl was grabbed by a man in an Essex park.
POLICE officers are appealing for information after a young girl was grabbed by a man in an Essex park.
A seven-year-old girl was grabbed by a man in Clacton on Tuesday evening.
She was with a group of older children in Elephant Park when the incident happened between 6pm and around 8.15pm.
After finding herself alone in the park, in Nayland Drive, the youngster, who is from the local area, was approached by a man.
He grabbed her but she managed to kick the man and managed run away from him.
Police officers conducting inquiries into the incident have now issued an appeal for help and information from the public.
A spokeswoman for Essex Police said: “Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the park, anyone with any information about the incident or any suspicious activity in the area.”
