HOSPITAL staff have been suspended over allegations they took part in an internet craze known as the “lying down game” before posting the pictures on Facebook.
Seven staff from the Great Western Hospital NHS Trust in Wiltshire have been suspended on full pay following the alleged incident last month.
It is claimed that doctors and nurses photographed each other lying face down throughout the hospital before posting the images on Facebook.
They have since been taken down.
Those who take part in the game must lie face down with the palms of their hands flat against their sides and the tips of their toes pointing at the ground.
Disciplinary hearings will be held.
