Former school friends of Kate Wasyluk and Emma Harold, who attended Copleston High School, have paid their respects by leaving touching messages at the scene of the fatal crash.
Dozens of floral tributes at the scene of the crash include several bouquets from old school pals.
One reads: “Kate, I have so many good memories. It is true what they say, the good die young. I know you have gone to a better place. Lyndsey.”
David East, deputy head teacher of Copleston High School, said: “The Copleston community was very saddened to hear of the deaths of Emma and Kate at the weekend. There are many staff who have fond memories of Emma and Kate when they were pupils at Copleston High School, and their contributions to our community. Our thoughts are with their families at this very sad time.”
