An Ipswich pub has gained international recognition thanks to its impressive range of ales.
The Fat Cat, in Spring Road, was included in The Good Pub Guide's top 10 beer pubs for an "extraordinarily interesting" list of real ales.
Only a handful of pubs across the entire country were included in the list.
In addition to a "fantastic" range of real ales, each establishment was praised for its "friendly service and great atmosphere".
In 2021, The Fat Cat celebrated 25 years of business and is a popular watering hole in the town.
The Good Pub Guide said of The Fat Cat: "It’s all about beer and atmosphere at this all-heart, no-frills bar, which is reliably stuffed with real ales and cheerful customers.
"Up to 17 real ales tapped from the cask or, in the case of Adnams, on handpump, come from East Anglia and around the UK, from both well known and smaller breweries, in styles mainstream and more esoteric.
"Both current and upcoming brews are listed on the website so you can plan your visits, which might include Fat Cat Golden, Fullers London Pride, Green Jack Trawlerboys, Mighty Oak Oscar Wilde Mild, St Austell Tribute or Three Blind Mice’s unfined orange and vanilla Saison.
"There are also three craft beers on tap, several farm ciders, quite a few Belgian bottled beers and wines by the glass."
The Fat Cat is open each day from 12pm until 11pm.
