A reduced speed limit is currently in place on the Orwell Bridge outside Ipswich due to high winds this morning.
National Highways has confirmed that a 40mph speed limit is being enforced in both directions of the A14.
In a tweet National Highways said: "Please be aware that due to high wind speeds, there is a 40mph speed restriction on the Orwell Bridge near Ipswich.
"The Met Office advise that high winds are expected until around 9am this morning."
The Orwell Bridge has previously shut to vehicles whenever wind speeds reach 50mph, but reduced speed limits are now typically introduced instead.
