A 16-year-old boy from Ipswich has admitted drug dealing after being found in possession of heroin and cocaine.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Ipswich Youth Court on Thursday, January 19.
The court heard the defendant was involved in the supply of class A drugs in the Ipswich area between June and December last year.
When arrested, he was found to be in possession of a quantity of heroin and cocaine, while £2,000 in cash and two mobile phones were also seized.
The boy admitted two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
He was given a Youth Rehabilitation Order for 24 months, as well as being banned from Suffolk for six months.
The investigation was carried out as part of Operation Hull, Suffolk police's response to gang criminality.
