Two popular Suffolk fish and chip shops are in the running to be named the best in the UK.
Ipswich's Codfellas and Hendo's in Bury St Edmunds are waiting to find out if they have won their respective categories in this year's Fish and Chip Shop Awards.
Ipswich CodFellas, in Greenfinch Avenue, has been named in the final three fish and chip shops in the Quality Accreditation category.
Hendo's Fish & Chips in Bury St Edmunds has been named in the final three for Best Newcomer.
The final three in all categories is selected following extensive judging from an anonymous panel of industry experts.
The best newcomer category celebrates businesses that opened no earlier than January 2021.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony held at the Pak Plaza Westminster Bridge in February 2023.
