A singer-songwriter from Suffolk is set to release her new single later this month and perform her first ticketed show since Covid.

Caswell, from Woodbridge, will release her new single Your Type on February 17, with more releases planned for the year.

She last performed a ticketed show in 2019, when she appeared in front of thousands to support Ed Sheeran for his homecoming gigs in Chantry Park.

She and her band were the supporting act on the last night of his divide tour.

She said: "It was an absolutely incredible opportunity.

"Everyone was so welcoming, so organised, but the experience was absolutely mind-blowing."

That same bank holiday weekend, Caswell and her band had also taken to the stages of Leeds and Reading festivals.

Caswell, who has more than 757,000 streams on Spotify, will perform this weekend at The Baths as part of Independent Venue Week.

She said: "It really feels like the live music scene is alive again after lockdown.

"The week is full of such amazing artists, it just makes it feel like it's closing a chapter on the lockdown and non existent live music.
