Two men have been charged in connection with drug offences after warrants were carried out in Ipswich.
Officers carried out warrants at addresses in the Suffolk town on Thursday, February 9, which saw two men arrested.
Both men were taken to Martlesham police investigation centre for questioning.
They were both then charged by officers.
Brandon Smith, 26, of Partridge Road, Ipswich, was subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled Class B drug, namely cannabis, and requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Travis Abbott, 34, of Kingfisher Road, Ipswich, was charged with being concerned in making an offer to supply to another a controlled Class B drug, namely cannabis.
The pair appeared before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court last Friday and were remanded in custody by the court ahead of their next court appearance.
