An Ipswich man has appeared in court after allegedly breaking into a house in Ipswich.
Matthew Cracknel, of Norwich Road in Ipswich, is accused of breaking into a house less than half a mile away on August 28 last year.
The 41-year-old was charged with burglary with intent to steal, after allegedly entering the home in Brooks Hall Road.
He appeared in Suffolk Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 21.
Appearing live by video link from custody, Cracknell spoke to confirm his name and date of birth.
Cracknell is currently serving time in Wayland Prison near Thetford in Norfolk.
Magistrates chose to send the case to Ipswich Crown Court.
He will next appear there on Friday, March 3.
