An application has been submitted for seven new affordable homes in Chantry.
The proposals from Orwell Housing Association would see the demolition of Horley Cottage in Lupin Road in order to make way for the properties.
Five of the homes will be terraced, with the remaining two being a pair of semi-detached houses.
Each dwelling will have a designated garden area alongside vehicular parking spaces accessed from the shared driveway.
All of the properties will be let out by Orwell Housing Association.
