Ipswich Town have launched sensory packs for supporters at Portman Road to make the game accessible for more people.
Supporters with sensory impairments can now attend matches and use the new packs, filled with things to help on a match day.
The packs include an Ipswich Town popper toy, a fidget spinner, a stress ball, a lanyard, season ticket card holders and a pair of noise-reducing headphones.
They were first rolled out ahead of the League One home match against Burton Albion on Saturday, which saw Wes Burns and Conor Chaplin both donning the headphones to show support for mascots on the autism spectrum.
Lee Smith, the club's disability liaison officer, said: "We have had a lot of demand for these, and it just allows us to make that match day experience possible for those that might have sensory impairments.
"It was nice of the Wes and Conor to do that – it was nice that they wanted to raise awareness but also show support to the two mascots.
"Maybe now that people have seen players wearing these, it might drive people to want to get involved in the club as they are now able to wear headphones, having seen their favourite players wearing them."
The club launched a pack similar in the 19/20 season before Covid, but due to the pandemic, and restrictions meaning supports couldn't attend, they stopped.
Town chose to relaunch the packs this past week as part of Level Playing Field's Unite for Access campaign.
The packs were made possible following a donation from Ipswich Town fan Steve Kirby and a donation to the disability provision in memory of Martin Swallow, the former supporters' club chairman.
The packs are free of charge to season ticket holders, and those interested can fill out an online form.
Alternatively, fans can rent the packs for a single game by paying a deposit.
