An intruder fled from the scene of a burglary after being interrupted by a resident.
The incident happed in Rushmere Road, Ipswich, between 1.10pm and 2.50pm on Monday.
According to Suffolk police, a man entered a bedroom at a property and was disturbed by a resident who was at home.
The intruder then left the house via the front door.
He is described as mixed race, about 6ft tall and had a beard/facial hair.
He was wearing a black beanie hat.
Nothing is believed to have been stolen.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses or people in the area at the time to come forward.
Anyone who has any information about the burglary or witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time should contact Suffolk Police CID South Team 1, quoting crime reference number 37/14898/23.
