The Green Room 

The Green Room was one of the most popular suggestions by our readers. 

Using independent roasters for its coffee, the store has been at the heart of the community for several years.

Combat2Coffee 

Combat2Coffee received several mentions by our readers. 

The organisation, which specialises in mental health, and also operates a coffee shop in Bury St Edmunds, received a £14,000 grant to reach more rural areas earlier this year.

Applaud Coffee 

First set up by sisters Hannah Huntly and Beth Tichie in 2013, Applaud Coffee has become synonymous with the coffee scene in Ipswich. 

It has become a popular place for coffee lovers visiting St Peter's Street, and has won several awards over the years. 

A planned takeover fell through earlier this year.

Little Beans Coffee House 

Several commentors praised Little Beans Coffee House for its "great coffee" and "friendly service". 

Launched by Christine Hendry in 2021, the coffee shop has proven to be a hit with Ipswich residents.

Arkana Coffee 

If you are keen to try a new café then you should head to Arkana Coffee. 

Operated by Ian Dobney and Rodica Geogea, the pair have received "fantastic support" since opening.

Chestnut & Rose 

Another popular suggestion among our readers was Chestnut & Rose in Kesgrave.
