Two places in Suffolk have been named among the best places to live in the East of England in a prestigious guide.
Felixstowe has been named in the best places to live in the East in the annual Sunday Times Best Places to Live Guide.
The coastal town of Felixstowe was recognised for its friendly lifestyle and its Blue Flag beach.
The town is also home to the Port of Felixstowe, which attracts thousands of people to the county to watch the huge container ships come in and out of the country.
Dedham Vale, which spans across the Suffolk and Essex border south of Ipswich, was also named on the list.
The village of Dedham was recognised as a place where people can live close to nature while remaining within reach of London.
It was described as a prime location for birdwatchers and is very popular in the summer months with people visiting the area of outstanding natural beauty.
The Sunday Times’ judges visited all the locations and assessed factors from schools to transport, broadband speeds to culture, as well as access to green spaces and the health of the high street.
