An 11-year-old from Ipswich is "over the moon" after being chosen to appear in a production being staged by a prestigious national drama group.
Lillie Morris-Sanders has been accepted to perform as part of the British Youth Music Theatre for their performance of The Naughty Carriage on the Orphan Train.
She got in after going through a three-hour audition, held at the New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich.
She said: "I was over the moon when I found out because I had to go through so many rounds to get in.
"So many people auditioned and I was one of the very few to get in.
"I am so thankful to be picked."
Lillie has been dancing since she was "tiny" and her mum Aimee even danced while pregnant with Lillie.
Aimee said: "She is always performing, from a disco in the kitchen, putting shows on in the lounge, to a showcase in the West End or the Regent Theatre.
"I couldn't quite believe it when Lillie was offered this amazing opportunity.
"I am so proud of Lillie, her bravery, confidence and talent and everything she stands for."
Lillie, who is the head girl at Sprites Primary Academy, and plays football and netball, has also performed in Blackpool in the World Championship Competition.
For this production, Lillie will head to Dundee for a two-week residential programme to train for the production in August.
Lillie said: "I am really looking forward to that.
"I have never been away from home before for that amount of time, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with everyone else in the performance."
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Lillie with the costs of the course and travel to Scotland.
