A Suffolk Aldi has announced measures to manage shoppers trying to get their hands on a viral energy drink when it returns to shelves tomorrow.

Prime Hydration Drink has been hard to come by, with a number of the flavours to be made available from April 18.

At the end of last year, shoppers queued from the early morning at Aldi stores around Ipswich to get bottles of Prime, the energy drink created by YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul.

The drink appeared on the store’s shelves on December 29 and was quickly sold out.

The drink will be sold in, among others, Aldi Martlesham from 8am where a queue system outside the store for Prime only will be introduced.

On social media, customers have been told the bottles will not be on display to prevent any rush to run into the store and will be handed to the customers in the special queue.

The drink will be sold one per customer.
