A proud Ipswich musician has shared his joy at seeing his daughter perform at Glastonbury last weekend - especially because he was also appearing on stage as well.

Ipswich born Trevor ‘TBoNe’ Jones performed with local ska giants ‘the Downsetters’, singing and playing trombone.

His daughter, Rianne Jones, also from Ipswich, performed with the 11-time winners of the UK National Panorama Steel band competition, Mangrove.

Both Jones's watched each other's live performances and managed to meet up afterwards for some family time.

Rianne started playing steelpans with the Ipswich Youth Steel band which her dad runs when she was nine. It was her first time at Glastonbury - and her dad's fourth.

Trevor says he has another child, son Ashton, also a musician.

'One day perhaps all three of us will play there,' he said. 'Maybe next year!'

The Youth Steel band are currently recruiting new members.
