A 76-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a fatal crash that happened in Hadleigh last year.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash in Lady Lane at about 10am on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
A blue Toyota Aygo was involved in a collision with an orange Ford Ranger, following which the rear passenger of the Toyota – a 76-year-old woman – was taken to Ipswich Hospital, where she died.
Ann Abbott, of Marlborough Drive, Sudbury, appeared at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, where she was formally charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Abbott was granted bail pending a next hearing at Cambridge Crown Court on Thursday, August 3.
