A former Emmerdale star is swapping the Yorkshire Dales for the Ipswich stage as she is announced as a star in the Regent's pantomime this year.

Sleeping Beauty is set to run from Friday, December 15, to Sunday, December 31.

Vicki Michelle MBE is best known for playing Yvette Carte-Blanche on 'Allo 'Allo! in every episode aired between 1982 - 1992 and has reprised the role since.

From 2007 to 2009 she starred as Patricia Foster in Emmerdale, and had a stint in the I'm A Celeb jungle in 2014.

Most recently she appeared in Eastenders as the secret wife of Tom 'Rocky' Cotton, Jo Cotton, in early 2023.

Vicki Michelle will be playing the Wicked Fairy for the two-week stint.

Twist and Pulse have also been added to the star-studded line-up.

Fresh from winning Britains Got Talent: The Champions, Ashley and Glen will take on the roles of the henchmen.

Also joining them on stage is returning pantomime star Mike 'Squeaky' McClean.

He played Mr. Smee in the Regent's pantomime last year, Peter Pan, and will be returning to the stage this year as the Jester in Sleeping Beauty.
