The cause of death of a two-month-old baby boy from Ipswich could not be determined, an inquest has ruled.
The senior coroner for Suffolk read his conclusion into the death of Kailyn-Blu Noah Hutchinson before the court on Friday.
Kailyn-Blu died more than 18 months ago, on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
The court heard that Kailyn-Blu had fallen asleep on the sofa beside his mother at around 4am.
When his mother woke at around 8.30am, she found that Kailyn-Blu was “unresponsive”.
Emergency services were called and Kailyn-Blu was taken to Ipswich hospital.
The two-month-old's death was recorded at 10.43am.
Senior coroner for Suffolk Nigel Parsley said: “Exactly how Kailyn-Blu came by his death could not be ascertained from the evidence, and an open conclusion was recorded.”
