Four roads in north west Ipswich will be closed for 10 days for gas works.
Shakespeare Road, Burns Road, Swinbourne Road and Stratford Road have shut as a result of works being carried out by Cadent.
All four roads wil be closed until Friday, August 4.
Ipswich Buses has said one of its routes will be unable to travel along Shakespeare Road and nearby Meredith Road due to closure.
Diversion routes are in place along Old Norwich Road, the A1156 and Meredith Road.
