A number of travellers have pitched up at a beauty spot on the outskirts of Ipswich.
At least nine vans were spotted arriving at Belstead Meadows on Wednesday.
It is unclear what time they arrived.
Vans were spread out across the land.
Travellers were also seen in Great Cornard and at Whitehouse Asda in Ipswich in recent weeks.
An Ipswich Borough Council spokesperson says: “The Council is taking all necessary steps to regain possession of the land.”
A Suffolk County Council Spokesperson said: “The Norfolk and Suffolk Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Liaison Service is due to visit the site to conduct a welfare assessment, before agreeing next steps with the relevant parties.”
