Ipswich: Top comedians to perform Regent Theatre for EACH

Happy Christmas Ipswich is set to return for its fourth instalment on December 4 at the Regent Theatre. 

Last year, the total hit a record £105,000, with all money going to East Anglia Children's Hospices (EACH).

Comedian Griff Rhys Jones will once again host the show, with acts already confirmed to grace the stage alongside.

The bill includes Dara Ó Briain, best known for hosting Mock The Week, Dame Joanna Lumley, and Suffolk resident, Hollywood actor and comedian, Omid Djalili.

TV and Film star Rob Brydon is also confirmed to appear at Happy Christmas 4.

Fellow Welsh comedian and writer, Kiri Pritchard-McLean will also perform, as well West End star, Miriam-Teak Lee, known for her performances in Hamilton, and winning an Olivier Award for her role as Juliet in & Juliet.

Griff Rhys Jones said: "We've been working hard on the line-up throughout the summer and I am delighted to be welcoming more of my old muckers to join us on stage in December.

"Other great names are on the way, so let's make this coming year the best, because this is a charity that does an incredible job, a job that's only possible thanks to its incredible supporters across East Anglia."

In previous years, the show has seen names from comedy, acting and music take to the Regent Theatre stage, including Lee Mack, Al Murray, Stephen Fry, Ruthie Henshall and Milton Jones.

Kevin Clements, EACH director of fundraising, said: "We're absolutely thrilled to share details of what promises to be another magical, memorable and unmissable night.

"This is our biggest fundraising event of the year and it's another stellar line-up, thanks to the tireless dedication and hard work of Griff."
