A serious traffic collision caused severe delays around the Wherstead area in Ipswich.
Emergency services were at the scene of a serious road traffic collision near the entrance of Suffolk Food Hall.
Suffolk police were called to the incident at around 7.25am today, September 5, to reports of a two-vehicle collision on The Strand.
UPDATE: Woman in her 30s dies after serious crash
An eye witness said that they believed the crash involved a truck and a car.
They also said that there appeared to be three ambulances, two fire crews and an air ambulance at the scene.
The road was closed for investigations but has now reopened.
Suffolk Food Hall has managed to open, with access via Fox's Marina and Redgate Lane rather than the main entrance on The Strand.
Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team at Police Headquarters in Martlesham, quoting reference CAD 50 of 5 September.
