One of Felixstowe's biggest runs is returning this weekend and a number of road closures and parking restrictions will be in place.

The Richard Bennett Felixstowe Coastal 10-mile Run is set to take place on Sunday, September 8, just days after the Tour of Britain ripped through the seaside town.

The route is set to cover the area from Landguard Fort to Felixstowe Ferry, with most of the run taking place along the promenade.

Several roads are due to be closed during the morning's event between 9.15am to 11.15am:

  • High Road East
  • Cliff Road
  • Golf Road
  • Maybush Lane
  • Undercliff Road East

Drivers will not be able to park along any of the closed routes and have been recommended by the local beachfront businesses to park in the town centre.
