Signs for a new bargain shop in a former Marks & Spencer store have been put in place.
Poundstretcher signed a five year lease to move into the ground-floor commercial unit at 55 Hamilton Road in Felixstowe earlier this year.
Signs for the store which is expected to open on October 2 have been put in place.
Work to refit the store is still taking place.
The new store is located within a short distance of the seafront.
Vanessa Penn, managing director of Penn Commercial, which arranged the lease, said: "We are pleased to be welcoming Poundstretcher to Felixstowe, where we are sure that this nationwide discount retailer will provide a popular addition to the town's already thriving High Street."
