An Ipswich restaurant will found out next week if it has been crowned the best in England at The Food Awards England 2023.
The Eaterie in The Salthouse in Ipswich has been shortlisted for Restaurant of the Year at the ceremony which takes place on Monday, October 9 in Birmingham and it will celebrate the food industry’s brightest stars.
The awards honours the exceptional talent, dedication and passion displayed by restaurants, chefs, eateries, suppliers and various food establishments across England.
As well as The Eaterie four businesses have been shortlisted for cafe/bistro of the year.
Bistro on the Quay, Cafe at the DanceHouse, Waterfront Bistro and Bicafé o Português all in Ipswich have been shortlisted.
Following a public nomination process, a diverse range of contenders were shortlisted across a range of categories.
