Plans for a family home at a wedding venue near Ipswich to be transformed into bridal party accommodation have been given the green light by a council.
An application submitted by the landowners in August sought permission from Mid Suffolk District Council to change the use of Copdock Hall Farm House, on the site of the already-established wedding venue Copdock Hall, for use as part of the venue.
Copdock Hall Wedding Venue is a grade II listed Elizabethan tithe barn built in 1570 that was converted into a function suite for weddings and events in spring 2015.
The now-approved proposals will see the farmhouse used by the bridal party and their family throughout their event.
Five bedrooms are planned for the first floor, complete with en-suites, while three bedrooms, also with en-suites, will replace the dining room, living room, study and laundry rooms on the ground floor.
The inclusion of the farmhouse as a bridal party suite will increase staff by around 12, with six full time and six part-time.
On October 10, plans were approved by Mid Suffolk District Council.
