A weekly music show on an Ipswich radio station has been nominated for a national award.
Baker's Dozen Radio Show, which broadcasts on Ipswich Community Radio, has been shortlisted in the Specialist Music Show of the Year category in the Community Radio Awards.
Jonathan Baker, the show's presenter, has been championing musicians from Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex for the last four years and is dedicated to new alternative and local music.
He said: "I'm really happy to have been recognised among so many other brilliant local community stations doing great work across the UK.
"I've always been passionate about the incredible music scene here in East Anglia and it feels extra special for the show to be recognised at a national level through these awards."
The show has broadcasted over 200 programmes to date, with up to 13 tracks played each week.
Martin Steers, Community Radio Awards chair, said: "Every year we are constantly surprised and delighted by the breadth and depth of the output of community radio, both on air and in their local communities.
"We wish Jonathan good luck and can't wait to host the ceremony in Newcastle in November."
