There were long delays on an Ipswich road due to four-way traffic lights.
Multi-way signals were in place along Colchester Road, near to the roundabout next to The Royal George pub, due to works being completed by CityFibre on Saturday morning.
The traffic lights were causing long queues along Colchester Road, as well as Sidegate Lane.
According to the AA Traffic Map, tailbacks were stretching as far as the Tuddenham Road.
Roadworks will be in place until Wednesday, November 15, according to one.network.
