Suffolk Highways has completed the latest stage of the huge transportation of abnormal loads through the county.
The authority worked with multiple agencies to move a 332 tonne turbine from a site in Claydon to Eye Airfield on Sunday.
It was the second part of stage two in the project, with the scale of the load meaning it had to be transported in separate parts for safety reasons.
After moving the loads for three consecutive weekends, there will now be a two week break until the final part of the scheme commences.
Suffolk Highways will begin transporting the third load at 6am on Sunday, November 19.
They will navigate the streets of Ipswich, before reaching Norwich Road and Bury Road.
From there, a decision will be made on whether to continue due to safety and daylight hours remaining.
Should they proceed, rolling closures will be in operation on the A14, while the A140 will be closed.
If they opt not to continue, the second part of the final leg will take place on Sunday, November 26.
