A crash on a key Ipswich road caused traffic queues this morning. 

Suffolk police was called at around 8.20am to a two-vehicle collision on the A1156 Bishops Hill near the junction with Duke Street and Back Hamlet.

The road was temporarily blocked while the vehicles were moved out of the way of the oncoming traffic. 

Suffolk police confirmed that the road is now clear and that one vehicle is waiting for recovery. 

Traffic appears to have recovered following the incident, but queued along Bishops Hill, Duke Street and Back Hamlet. 

No injuries have been reported.
