A county lines drug dealer from Bury St Edmunds and a rogue trader who swindled nearly £600,000 from customers were among those jailed in Suffolk this week.

Dykstra, 22 and of Ansel Avenue, admitted possessing with intent to supply, criminal possession and owning an offensive weapon after he was caught with nearly £20,000 in his bedroom alongside £1000 worth of cannabis and a sword. 

He was sentenced to 28 months in prison.

Savalas Rous

Officers found nearly 40g of cocaine and £500 in cash during the search of a property in Victoria Mews in Colchester back in 2020. 

Savalas Rous, of Talbot Road in Harwich, was found guilty of being concerned in the supply of cocaine between March 27 and April 21, 2020. He had previously denied the charge. 

He has been jailed for seven years.

Middleton, 45 and of Merlin Close in Warwickshire, was jailed for a total of four years and six months and disqualified as a director for five years. 

Middleton and his 34-year-old wife also pleaded guilty to two counts of fraudulently obtaining a mortgage for themselves. For these offences he was jailed for 12 months, to run concurrently.

His wife, Katie Middleton, received a nine month sentence, suspended for 18 months, and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £140.
