A coffee shop may soon be set up at an Ipswich town centre car park.
An application has been submitted to convert a ticket hut at Tower Ramparts car park on Crown Street into a coffee kiosk.
The venue would serve hot and soft drinks as well as light snacks, providing inside and outside seating for the guests.
The café would employ four part-time workers.
The ticket kiosk is currently vacant and claims one parking space.
The exterior of the new coffee kiosk would include timber charcoal cladding, with no outside lighting.
The works to convert the ticket hut into a coffee shop would take up to four weeks.
Ipswich Borough Council’s planning and development committee will review the application in due course.
