Three Suffolk restaurants have been recognised in a prestigious food guide.

The Good Food Awards has revealed its 2024 winners, celebrating independent business across the country for their culinary excellence.

Voted for by the public, Suffolk eateries have been recognise with both a Blue Ribbon accolade and a Gold Seal, which is awarded to those that have achieved high customer rating and votes for over three years. 

Haverhill restaurant Baltic Amber was awarded a Blue Ribbon accolade, recognising its high customer ratings and votes.

Spice Lounge in Mildenhall scooped a Blue Ribbon accolade, while The Grill at Twenty5 in Ipswich's St Nicholas Street was Suffolk's only Gold Seal winner.

The Grazing Sheep in Ipswich was Suffolk's only representative in the café category, collecting a Blue Ribbon award.

Bella Napoli collected a Blue Ribbon in the takeaway category.

Ipswich Codfellas, Aldeburgh Fish and Chips and The Hundon Plough were also recognised.

The awards come after a successful year for the restaurants. 

Baltic Amber featured on national TV as part of a segment on Big Zuu's Big Eats on Dave.
