A cast of 70 talented students are ready to Bend and Snap with their energetic performance of a hit West End and Broadway show.
St Joseph’s College has begun its performances of Legally Blonde, the hit musical based on Reese Witherspoon’s 2001 film of the same name.
The show follows Elle Woods as she heads to Harvard Law School, initially to win back her boyfriend Warner who dumps her for not being "serious" enough.
The upbeat musical is packed full of showstopping numbers and a message to never judge a book by its cover.
The leading role of Elle Woods is shared by students Bella Ross and Grace Bestley.
During the school’s dress rehearsal on Tuesday, West End star Lucy May Barker dropped in to offer her expertise before opening night.
The star came to the school at the end of August as part of a two-day workshop as students began rehearsing the show.
The actress played Annie on stage when she was only nine, spent five years in Mamma Mia in the West End and most recently played Rebecca Vardy in Wagatha Christie, which toured the UK.
Legally Blonde will take place at Dance East between December 5 and December 8.
