Delays remain near to the Orwell Bridge (Image: National Highways)
There were delays on the Orwell Bridge outside Ipswich after a police incident.
Officers were called to called to the incident on the A14 at about 12.05pm on Friday.
Traffic was held in both directions while the incident was dealt with.
Queues were forming as far back as the Copdock Interchange, before the incident was resolved at about 1pm.
An eyewitness said ambulances were also in attendance.
The East of England Ambulance Service has been approached for comment
