Two men have been sentenced for their involvement in a double stabbing incident in Ipswich.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Monday were Kai Curtis, 22, of Barnard Square, Ipswich, and Patrick Casey, 26, who was living in Dombey Road, Ipswich.
They had denied wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and attempted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
But on what was to be the first day of their trial in October they pleaded guilty to less serious alternative charges of unlawful wounding and attempted assault causing actual bodily harm.
Casey was given 20 months imprisonment, suspended for 18 months along, with a 25 day rehabilitation program and 60 hours of unpaid work by Judge Nicola Talbot-Hadley.
Curtis was given 16 months suspended for 18 months along with a 25 day rehabilitation program and 80 hours of unpaid work.
Police were called to Waterford Road on October 23, 2017 after it was reported a man had been stabbed in the leg and another man had been stabbed in the torso.
