'Beautiful' Bonnie is looking for her forever home to guide her through her adolescent years.

She is 1 year and 3 months old and is a Labrador Retriever and Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross.

Her profile at Blue Cross says: "Beautiful Bonnie is on the lookout for an experienced home that can help guide her through her adolescent years.

"Bonnie is a super character and is friendly with everyone she meets. She has done well with greeting new people at the centre and is excited to be on the lookout for a new family.

"Her ideal say is a long walk in the country, investigating her surroundings, followed up with a cuddle on the sofa."

Ipswich Star: Bonnie can be adopted from Suffolk Rehoming Centre in WhersteadBonnie can be adopted from Suffolk Rehoming Centre in Wherstead (Image: Blue Cross)The ideal family for Bonnie would be with experienced adults and potentially older teenagers who are used to large breeds of dogs.

She needs to be the only pet at the time so the main focus can be on her training, although she socialises well with other dogs when out and about.

When walking she can be strong on the lead when wanting to say hello to other dogs.

Bonnie finds it hard to settle on her own so will need an owner who has enough time and patience to help guide her through it.

Bonnie is available for adoption from the Suffolk rehoming centre in Wherstead, near Ipswich.
