Potholes caused disruption for drivers in 2023 and residents want to see fewer of them in 2024.
Former Debenhams to be restored
Several readers said they would like to see the former Debenhams building restored in 2024.
The premises, in Westgate Street, has been empty since the chain closed its doors in 2021.
Among the ideas put forward to revive the building include an indoor market or for events use.
Free parking
A number of readers called for free parking to be introduced into the town in a bid to attract more visitors.
One resident said: "It would bring thousands to the centre of the town."
Another reader added it would "attract shoppers" to Ipswich.
Promotion party for Ipswich Town
One of the most requested things to happen in Ipswich in 2024 is for Ipswich Town to seal promotion to the Premier League.
Currently flying high in the Championship, Town fans will be hoping Kieran McKenna's side can seal an emphatic promotion back to the Premier League.
Taco Bell to finally open
There have been calls for Taco Bell to finally open in Ipswich in 2024.
Plans for the restaurant to open at Anglia Retail Park, inside the former Carphone Warehouse, were first approved in August 2022.
Taco Bell confirmed that work on its new restaurant had been delayed, although it was hoped to open in 2024.
