There was heavy traffic near to the A14 Orwell Bridge on the outskirts of Ipswich after a crash.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the bridge at about 3.30pm on Tuesday.
One lane was closed on the eastbound carriageway.
National Highways said all lanes have reopened and the collision has been cleared.
The conditions of the drivers are not known at this time.
Suffolk police has been approached for comment.
