Signs have gone up for a new vape shop in an Ipswich shopping centre.

Vape Lounge is set to open a premises on the first floor of the Sailmakers Shopping Centre in Ipswich.

The shop will be located on the first floor towards the toilets, in one of the former Emmaus shops.

An opening date is yet to be announced for the shop.

Last week, Poundland confirmed it would be closing its store in the Sailmakers.

The national retailer first opened its branch inside the shopping centre in 2014. 

However, it has been revealed the store will close its doors in February after they were unable to agree a new lease. 

A spokesman said: "The store is due to close at the beginning of February as sadly, we’ve been unable to renew the lease.

"Whenever we have to close a store in those circumstances, we work hard to find other opportunities for colleagues.

"We look forward to welcoming customers to our Copdock store."
